Washington Post, Newsweek, The Hill Using Russian Disinformation Techniques

Be A Part Of The Jewish Resistance – Bend The Arc logo, from

Many Russian disinformation articles refer to experts or expert agencies to provide validation of a claim.

Sometimes the claims are outrageous, sometimes the claims are complete fabrications, and often the claims seem almost legitimate. Until you do a modicum of digging, you know, do good old hardcore research.

Apparently, this is what the Washington Post, Newsweek, and The Hill did not do when running articles. That, or have journalistic integrity.

There is an organization called “Bend the Arc“, cited in articles by all three publications. Supposedly the organization is all about promoting and protecting Jews and Judaism.

Except it’s not.

If I had to categorize it, a simple encapsulation of their mission statement can be made in one word: Resist.

“Resist” has become the rallying cry for Democrats and those actively resisting Donald Trump as the President of the United States.

They state very plainly on their homepage that they are a “progressive” organization.   Also, “We are the first and only Jewish PAC to advocate exclusively for progressive policies in the U.S:

Here is where things get interesting.

According to The Daily Wire, the director of Bend the Arc is Hadar Susskind, who is former IDF Special Forces, was a staffer at J Street, supposedly another pro-Jewish PAC for two years. J Street, however, urged President Obama not to veto a UN Security Council resolution condemning Israel. For this. the group has been widely damned as not a real supporter of Israel and Daily Wire strongly condemns them.

Furthermore, Alexander Soros, George Soros’ son, supposedly “runs” “Bend the Arc”. Soros’s father, George Soros strongly supports liberal causes and is widely accused of funding unconventional protests and activities. Alexander Soros, may not run the day to day activities of Bend the Arc, but he helped stand it up, Soros’ son builds a PAC for Jewish voters. That may be so, but the crux of the left-leaning disinformation is listed next.

Take an organization solely organized to “resist” Trump and ask them to organize an effort to resist Trump from participating in the mourning of the murder of 11 Jews in the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, and blame it on “denouncing white nationalism”.

From the Daily Wire, article, Media Tout ‘Jewish Leaders’ In Pittsburgh Telling Trump He’s Not Welcome. They’re Lying. Those ‘Jewish Leaders’ Are Professional Progressive Activists,

“Rabbi Jeffrey Myers of the Tree of Life Synagogue told CNN this morning, “The President of the United States is always welcome. I’m a citizen. He’s my president. He is certainly welcome.” “

I am not advocating for white nationalism, not by a long shot, but it appears all the mainstream press, the left and Bend the Arc want to do is embarrass Trump just before the midterm elections, but they are blaming it on something else. That is one of the hallmarks of Russian Information Warfare.  Invade Crimea in a land grab but say it is to save the Russian people of Crimea, to save the Russian language, to prevent a NATO takeover of an airfield in Crimea, prevent the oppression of Russian people by Ukraine. Then do it again in Donbas.

All complete and utter baloney.

Journalistic integrity, indeed.

  1. Reminds me of a Newsweek story about an umbrella attack of a Russian misinformed and the haphazard antics of a demented wanna be Maxwell Smart and his unemployed legal counsel
