LtGen Deptula: Space Force: Go Slow, Learn From Army Air Corps

Space Force: Go Slow, Learn From Army Air Corps « Breaking Defense – Defense industry news, analysis and commentary

An excellent essay on the subject matter, that I wholly agree with – it is a when rather than if question.

It is worth noting that there is no proper doctrine at this time on how to fight in space. A lot has been written about it, but it is in hard science fiction novels, movies and TV series, and specifically those that assume no faster than light engines and other exotic physics. Somebody is going to have to do the hard thinking, and test the ideas, before we have something real, rather than The Expanse, Battlestar Galactica, or Babyon 5.
