New Techniques From Russian Trolls To Avoid Detection Detected

This tweet from Conspirador Norteño – @conspirator0 is outstanding.  ht to Molly McKew for pointing this out. Read the whole thread, please.

Apparently, the Russian trolls and bots are using tactics, techniques and procedures to avoid detection by Twitter algorithms to designed to detect automated bots from spamming.  As Conspirador Norteño says, many of the signs of automated bot use were not detected.  Russian trolls do things on the cheap, so there may be a copy and paste operation going on, which, while more manpower intensive, is less efficient, and may prove too resource intensive.
