  1. And that's your lot

Well, another exciting and eventful afternoon in the EFL comes to a close.

We'll have a rather different set of fixtures on the way next weekend with the first round of the FA Cup.

But, before that, there's a full set of midweek fixtures on the way on Tuesday and Wednesday next week across all three divisions.

Be sure to catch them all right here across BBC Sport where they'll no doubt be some more drama to tell you about.

Until then - thanks for being with us this afternoon.

  2. League Two full-time headlines

    Southend Port Vale
    • Leaders Newport beat Harrogate for fifth straight win to go five points clear
    • Second-placed Cambridge lose at Crawley
    • Bottom side Southend defeated by Port Vale - Shrimpers' 17th loss in 20 games
    • Managerless Mansfield also remain winless after 1-1 draw with Walsall
    • Bolton thumped 4-0 at Leyton Orient
  3. League One full-time headlines

    • Peterborough record an emphatic home win against Shrewsbury to become the new leaders.
    • Lincoln City lose hold of outright top spot as they are beaten 1-0 at Doncaster Rovers.
    • Oli Hawkins' first goal for Ipswich also moves them level on points with Posh and the Imps as they beat Crewe.
    • Hull City lose on the road at Swindon to slip a point behind those three.
    • Charlton maintain their impressive form with a win at Portsmouth.
  4. Championship full-time headlines

    • Wycombe beat bottom side Sheffield Wednesday for their first-ever Championship win, moving eight points clear of the Owls
    • Dominic Ball's stoppage time goal sees QPR win 3-2 against Cardiff
    • Preston fall to a sixth successive home defeat, losing 2-1 to Birmingham
    • Andre Ayew scores as Swansea beat Blackburn to move up to second
    • Brentford win 3-0 at Luton, Huddersfield win by some scoreline at Millwall

And after that late finish at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium - that's all the full-time scores in across the three divisions.

We'll bring you the headlines shortly...

    QPR 3-2 Cardiff

Dominic Ball's stunning late strike snatched the points for a QPR side who were winless in seven matches before today.

Cardiff have now failed to win any of their last 12 away league games in London.

  7. GOAL: QPR 3-2 Cardiff

    Dominic Ball (90+1 mins)

    What a goal!

Do we have a late winner?

QPR take the lead in injury time and it's Dominic Ball with a corking strike from 25 yards.

    Dominic Ball goal

    Stoke 1-0 Rotherham

James McClean with the first-half strike that proved the difference.

Another three points keep them moving towards the top six.

    Millwall 0-3 Huddersfield

Goals from Josh Koroma, Pipa and Lewis O'Brien sealed a comfortable win for Huddersfield.

The Terriers had lost their last two league games before today while Millwall's unbeaten run of six games at the Den comes to an end.

    Preston 1-2 Birmingham

Another home defeat for Preston. Six in a row in all competitions - a new club record!

Gary Gardner with the late winner for Birmingham in that one.

    Wycombe 1-0 Sheff Wed

Wycombe have done it! Their first ever Championship victory!

David Wheeler's near-post header on the stroke of half-time proved enough, and the Chairboys defended well to restrict Sheffield Wednesday to half-chances.

Gareth Ainsworth had to watch from home after back surgery on Friday and he'll be a very proud manager.

  12. GOAL: Millwall 0-3 Huddersfield

    Lewis O'Brien (90+3 mins)

Lewis O'Brien with a nice finish to make it three for the away side.

    Bournemouth 1-1 Derby

Honours even on the south coast.

Rodrigo Riquelmes goal cancels out Graeme Shinnie's early strike to keep the Cherries unbeaten.

    Middlesbrough 1-0 Nottingham Forest

Marvin Johnson's effort was enough for Middlesbrough to take all three points.

Nottingham Forest boss Chris Hughton is yet to register an away league win at the Riverside as their four-match unbeaten run comes to an end.

    Swansea 2-0 Blackburn

Points in the bag for Swansea courtesy of Ben Cabango and Andre Ayew's goals.

    Luton 0-3 Brentford

Goals in the first half-hour from Rico Henry and Ivan Toney made it a long afternoon for Luton.

Brentford have been a touch inconsistent this term but this was a vintage performance, with Marcus Forss' third putting the icing on the cake.

    Barnsley 1-0 Watford

Alex Mowatt's long-range wondergoal in the first half is enough for Barnsley, who have won both their games since Valerien Ismael took charge.

It's a second Championship defeat of the season for Watford, who were relegated from the Premier League last season.

  18. GOAL: Millwall 0-2 Huddersfield

    Pipa (89 mins)

    Huddersfield make the game safe.

Pipa has shot which is palmed by Millwall keeper Bartosz Bialkowski but it goes over him and it drops over the line.

  19. Post update

    Bournemouth 1-1 Derby

Into five minutes of stoppage time on the south coast.

Can Bournemouth find a winner to move within three points of leaders Reading?

  20. Post update

    Wycombe 1-0 Sheff Wed

A powerful effort from Sheffield Wednesday striker Callum Paterson is kept out by Wycombe stopper Ryan Allsop.

    The seconds are ticking...
